Move over Sherlock Holmes. Magnum PI may have been sexy, but have you ever seen him share a long lingering kiss with another man? Well now there’s a hot new detective in town and he brings new meaning to the term “private dick for hire.” (That’s short for private detective for those of you who didn’t catch the reference.) Adapted from Richard Stevenson’s gay mystery novels, the Donald Strachey films (now four in total) have quickly become a favourite with queer audiences. We are pleased to bring you two debut Strachey titles in a back-to-back double feature of mystery and thrill.

When Dorothy Fisher is suspended from her job as a high school counsellor it seems that homophobic parents are to blame. But when her suspension is followed by a home invasion, blackmail and murder, detective Donald Strachey (Chad Allen) takes the case.
