Once again, The Friends of Dorothy Queer Film Series will be dimming the lights at the Rio to present My Own Private Idaho, Gus Van Sant's cult classic starring River Phoenix and Keanu Reeves. Following, at 9:30pm, is the William Friedkin film Boys in the Band. Made in 1970, this pioneer of gay celluloid was called extraordinary, groundbreaking, and controversial (and still is).

Featuring Special Guest Host, Vera Way, who will be preforming and hosting the audience intermission game to give away two Canucks tickets!

Two films for $10 (or $8 with a film-related costume).
