The Vancouver Queer Film Festival presents films and videos that may not have been classified by the BC Film Classification Office. Under BC law, any person wishing to see these unclassified films must belong to the Vancouver Out On Screen Film and Video Society. Annual membership is open to anyone 18 years or older and must be purchased at the Membership Table prior to your first screening or online.

Please note: You must show your membership card at every screening! If you have forgotten your membership card, you must purchase another in order to be allowed into the theatre.

45% of Out On Screen’s budget currently relies on government funding. Revenue generated by memberships supports the Festival, Out in Schools and the Queer History Project. By purchasing a membership, you’re making an investment in Out On Screen, and in our community.

Vancity Members Save!

Show your Vancity member card and you'll only pay $2 for an Out On Screen membership. Vancity will cover the other half. This discount is not available online. Please bring your Vancity member card to the Membership Table prior to your first screening.
