In July 2011, Vancouver will be host to the Out Games. 2011 also marks Vancouver's 125th anniversary. We're pleased to present a community public art installation to celebrate the occasion. Imagine walking down Davie Street and stumbling across self-reflective art installations that speak to our communities' histories! Our vision includes storefront window stencils of quotes from our elders, the unveiling of Chosen Family Portraits art installation, artist performances, discussion forums and screenings of our commissioned films. This is a particularly unique opportunity for us to come together and celebrate our community experiences, both past and present.
